The Business Analysis Phase

We research the most suitable applications, tools, and services needed to enhance your business systems. We customise existing off-the-shelf applications or work with developers to build a customised system.

After the strategy is decided, analysis and planning are the nuts and bolts of your project. Do you need a specific software application to get a project underway? Is this on a new or existing platform? Is your workflow suffering due to process issues?

While some problems are best solved by technology, there may be a case for substituting a manual procedure. Often we find a few structural tweaks can open up new pathways for your business.

Our research generally includes the following aspects:

  • Seeking out new and relevant applications and platforms
  • Modifications to existing software
  • Changing business procedures and processes to work with new technology
  • Gathering expert advice from developers, hardware and infrastructure consultants, or SEO experts

Once we have identified how and what we need to transform your business, where possible we will create a working prototype to replicate your requirements in a proof of concept. Before implementation begins we produce a list of deliverables. This includes implementation by The Detail Department (or third parties) and includes training, documentation and custom help documents.
