On the weekend I did something I’ve never done before – I bought a brand new car. Now there are many people who will say I’m stupid because you loose 30% when you drive it out of the lot, etc etc. I know the facts and I know the opinions and I still bought a new car. The reason I bought the car was peace of mind. I wanted to know that I had a full warranty for the full time that I intend to have the car as I was stung with my current car, which was bought as a used car, when everything is starting to go wrong with it after the warranty had worn off. So for me, having the warranty and the peace of mind that if something goes wrong it should be covered, means that I can sleep at night.
During my online car research I came across the Aussie website called SHEdrives. It is a “one stop shop” resource for female car buyers. And although I hate to admit that being female and buying a car STILL has some issues out in the marketplace, it is an unfortunate reality. I did all the negotiations myself and came away with a great deal, but I still needed some help on an insurance issue that came up at the very end of the negotiations, after the deal was signed.
The team at SHEdrives was very helpful, very supportive and gave me the help I needed in a flash. It is really comforting to know that even if I think I can do it all myself, that there is some support out there when I really need it.
Thanks to the excellent team at SHEdrives and I will definitely recommend their site and service to any of my female friends looking to buy a car in future.
